Women and auto insurance companies have come to an understanding about women’s safe driving practices. This arrangement means that you get the benefit of cheaper auto insurance.

However, not all men believe that women are good drivers and you may have a problem convincing some of them. Don’t even try.

Road rage seems to be on the increase, and a nasty incident between two drivers can occur anywhere. Imagine, for example, that someone takes umbrage when you change lanes forcing him to apply the brakes. Small things like this can spark animosity; depending on the state of mind of that person, this situation can escalate.

Not many men will resort to punching an unknown woman in public, but I have seen a man jump out his car and take his rage out on the woman’s car.

How are you going to prove to the auto insurance company that this was not your fault? Surely, you have a mobile phone with a camera. If a situation like this arises, whip out that phone and start snapping photos. Take photos of the driver and the car’s registration plate if possible.

Get all the evidence you can, but don’t open your window or respond to the insults. You should also call the police. The time of the call will be recorded and corroborate your story so that you can get the car fixed and keep that cheap auto insurance.
