The Nevada auto insurance requirements stipulated by law are:

$15,000 per person, $30,000 per accident bodily injury

$10,000 property damage.

If you choose to purchase the liability coverage as a combined single limit, the liability limit for bodily injury and property damage is combined (e.g.: $40,000 combined single limit – total amount paid in the event of a loss for all bodily injury and/or property damage). The $40,000 is the minimum combined single-limit coverage allowable under Nevada law.

Please note that these are minimums required by Nevada state law, not suggested coverage amounts. The simple fact is, each state’s minimum requirements are typically inadequate to sufficiently cover your costs should you be involved in a major accident. The shortfall will have to be made up out of your own pocket. Obviously, having to pay this difference could easily destroy one financially.
